WarmTies ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Serser Software. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the WarmTies mobile application ("App"). Please read it carefully.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated through your use of the App.
- Account Information: Your email address (or the identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google) and the name you give us.
- Contacts: With your permission, WarmTies reads your device contacts so you can pick people to add. Only the contacts you choose are saved to your account: their name, phone number, email address and birthday. The rest of your address book is not uploaded.
- Notes and details you save: The people you add and the notes, details, dates and conversations you record about them, and the questions you ask in the App.
- Microphone & Voice: When you hold to talk, your speech is turned into text on your device with Apple's on-device speech recognition. The recording never leaves your device and is deleted after you save. Only the resulting text is sent to our servers.
- Purchases: Your subscription status, provided by the App Store through RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
- Device information: A push notification token and your time zone, so reminders arrive at the right time.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
- To personalize your experience and surface relevant reminders.
- To send you service-related notifications (e.g., reminders you have set).
- To respond to your support requests.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or illegal activity.
3. How We Store Your Data
The people, notes and details you save are stored in your private account on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase), protected with encryption in transit and at rest and visible only to you. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.
4. Third-Party Services
WarmTies uses the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — secure cloud database and sign-in.
- Anthropic — AI processing. The text of a note you save (with the names of people you already have) is sent to Anthropic's Claude model to pick out details, answer your questions and draft messages. It is not used to train AI models.
- RevenueCat — subscription management for App Store purchases.
- Resend — delivers the data export you request by email.
- Apple and Google — optional sign-in, and Apple's on-device speech recognition.
- Expo / EAS — app infrastructure and over-the-air updates.
5. Push Notifications
WarmTies may send push notifications for reminders and events you have configured. You can opt out of notifications at any time through your device's notification settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time in the App (Settings › Delete account) or by contacting us at info@serserinc.com.
7. Children's Privacy
WarmTies is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@serserinc.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
